Recovery for Oracle with Data Browser ReleasedData Browser functionality has been added to Recovery for Oracle for easy data review and granular recovery. The product is now equipped with both classic wizard-style recovery user interface and the new Data Browser utility. After initial analysis, Data Browser presents the selected Oracle database as a tree, accompanied with preview panes for looking into contents of tree items. When dealing with large databases, Data Browser may save a lot of time by allowing the operator to recover only what is needed, skipping unnecessary data. Data Browser may also be used for managing healthy non-corrupted databases — for example, selective backup or data export. Please be aware that recovering selected parts of a database may result in data integrity issues in the resulting database. When processing a corrupted database with Data Browser, consider recovering data in a way that will preserve referential integrity. It is also strongly recommended to set aside an intact copy of the original corrupted database before proceeding with any recovery activity, even though Recovery for Oracle never alters the original data in any way. Recovery for Oracle is also enhanced with a handy Database Creation Utility to help user with integrating results of recovery into a new Oracle database. Using Database Creation Utility is as simple as walking through steps of any other wizard. No special knowledge of Oracle database administration is required.
